In this role, you will:
Perform general clerical operations tasks that are routine in nature receiving
Receive, log, batch, and distributing work
Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
Work under close supervision following established procedures
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably Business courses
Experience in Banking Operations, Payments, Settlements with knowledge in SWIFT, Telex and Intellitracs is an advantage or preferred
Open to fresh graduate ( completed Business, Accounting or any Finance related degree )
Sound Risk management mindset and a good understanding of compliance, AML / OFAC
Job Expectations:
Investigates Payment related inquiries or services to clients ( Financial Institutions ) which includes sending SWIFT, FED WIRE and CHIPS messages, Return and Cancellation of payments, Hold funds in the General Ledger and re-effecting payments.
Corrects and creates different payment message types ( SWIFT, FED WIRE, CHIPS, Telex ) used by the payment parties
Team currently supports common pools – Unable to Apply, Debit Authorization, Amendment and Cancellation pool
