As aProduct managerin our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

As a Product Manager you will utilize JIRA and other programs in an Agile project environment to continuously deliver improvements and ensure controls are followed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Owner and Finance Transformation Office with managing requirements, dependences, risks/opportunities, status, coordinate agility office requirements and managing product epics, backlog for multiple complex features
  • Drive best practices and consistency across quarterly/yearly planning and initiatives/epics
  • Drive tech modernization and clearing house effort required as area product owner
  • Work across area product owners for needs on data governance to build distinct plan and on swing capacity needs when a "surge" is needed
  • Execute & deliver on the vision/roadmap that aligns to the objectives and key results by tracking near term sprint/kanban goals and removing impediments
  • Build and maintain continuous improvement culture by driving cross-product and cross-teams efficiencies, reducing waste and improving overall dependency management
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and release planning with area product owners, agility leads and software engineer leads
  • Ensure adherence to product controls and agility processes are followed as well as participates in product controls audit and resiliency planning
  • Provide oversight and guidance to overall delivery across the entire product
  • Manage junior team member deliverables, work prioritization, and performance management

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • 12+ years of experience in a program management or product management/owner leadership role
  • Banking experience in one or more US consumer credit portfolios (i.e., U.S. Mortgage, Home Equity, Credit Card, Automotive, Lease, Business Banking)
  • Knowledge of the Finance process especially Pricing, and macroeconomics. Ability to synthesize data and communicate to leadership in a concise and effective manner, both verbally and written
  • Strong JIRA experience – can navigate JIRA, create Initiative/Epics/Stories and Tasks, and have an understanding of more advanced capabilities such as creating dashboards and complex queries using JQL
  • 3+ years of experience working in an Agile environment and with Agile project methodologies
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to direct strategy of multiple program teams concurrently
  • Written and verbal communication skills – able to create executive communications / presentations to communicate status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability - able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines. A strong understanding of controls, budget management, risk management, and operations
  • History of effective multi-tasking, expectation setting, and escalation of issues, where appropriate
  • Project Management Skills -- well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Experience as a developer or understanding of data and tools such as SQL, Python or SAS
  • Understanding of Jira Align is plus
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and AWS cloud
