What You Will Do
- Work in a design environment where you challenge the norms and paradigms of user experience.
- Leverage data to identify and confirm bottlenecks in large-scale design and development workflows.
- Use engineering build tools, monorepo, and IDE to reproduce and debug UI janks in order to formulate cross functional solutions.
- Prototype difficult-to-visualize concepts to justify design and technical decisions.
- Learn new skills and emerging technologies (AI, VR, Unity, etc.) to explore engineering feasibility.
- Connect people to ideas in a way that generates excitement
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working on public-facing consumer products
- Strong development skills using JavaScript, Compose, or SwiftUI.
- Experience using data to form and validate strategic hypotheses.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience
- Capable of production-level engineering in one's own area of technical focus.
- Understand the product release cycle, making necessary tradeoffs and prioritization decisions to ship.
- Experience working with teams of engineers and QAs.
- Experience designing tools and solutions such as Figma Plugins, assets management, etc.
- Experience conducting or participating in user studies.
- Has at least one developed design proficiency, such as interaction, motion, visual or UX design.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
