Key responsabilities
- Plans and executes an integral thinking in the automation of manufacturing operations.
- Challenges designs of new automation, participates and the selection of new automation technologies.
- Articulates accountability and delivery of the automation projects activities such as BOM readiness and accuracy, automation materials ordering, receiving and management.
- Propose alternate solutions to reduce cost and complexity of new automations and solutions.
- Partners with Automation managers, engineers, technicians and maintenance, operations, engineering, quality, EHS and finance leaders to properly deliver new automated machines to production
- Manage the project management department and team members.
- Lead/Management project across multifunctional groups/departments located in different countries.
- Responsible, articulated and motivated Project Management
- Ability to create innovative solutions to any problem
- Provide project leaders/engineers with feedback, encourage and advice
- Development of individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resources needs.
- Communicate project objectives to all team members involved
- Manages projects procurement and capex accordingly.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, process, product, operations and business needs
- Act as an internal quality control check for the project
- Provide updates to leadership team
Educación, habilidades y/o experiencia deseables
- Undergraduate degree in Electronic, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Process/Industrial Engineering, or any applicable Engineering discipline.
- Experience managing teams
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
- English/Spanish Indispensable
- +10 years’ relevant experience in project Management.
- Strong Communication and negotiation
- Good experience in manufacturing technologies that include: 3D Printing, Robotics, Laser Marking & Laser Cutting, High Automated Production Lines, Data Base, 5 Axis CNC Machines, Coordinated Motion System, RFID System, Ultraviolet and Infrared Systems.
- Six Sigma Training and experience (Green Belt minimum).
- FDA regulated environment experience.
