Key Areas of Responsibility:
P&L ownership for the HPM business in Japan.
He/She works with the Japan leaders to ensure alignment of strategic plans where relevant and to ensure that the market potential is optimally utilized.
Responsible for sales growth by developing and utilizing the mix of direct and indirect sales.
Together with the Japan Market Leader the HPM Business Leader will strengthen the market organizations and is doing the BMC handshakes. Brings BMC plans to Market MT to ensure integration with/support of functional ldrs.
Lead the HPM sales, marketing and clinical team. Lead the HPM Business Marketing Managers and ensure local insights and support for strategic marketing planning as well as NPIs and launch readiness for product, solutions and services.
He / she is driving customer satisfaction by proper understanding of market evolution and providing the winning sales propositions, based on local needs, followed by optimized portfolio of product, solutions and services.
The HPM Business Leader champions Philips compliance with General Business Principles in the market place
Daily demonstration of the highest level of Philips Leadership competencies and behaviors.
Job Overview:
This is a director level role with responsibility for managing part of the business and will also be part of the Japan management team.
Responsible to develop and execute the Go To Market approach for assigned portfolio of products, solutions, services in alignment with the Markets’ Business and overall Marketing strategy
Works with the Business to ensure perfect and flawless New Product Introductions and Launches.
Supports the Business Marketing & Sales Leader (BM&S) in the interactions with the Business, especially the BMC process.
Supports and coaches the Modality Sales and Clinical teams in the Market as a one point contact to the Business and ensures Marketing strategy and plans are aligned.
Portfolio of products, solutions and services is large and complex

Has a broad knowledge of products and services within the scope
Complete knowledge and understanding of the Marketing processes
Leads a cooperative effort among members of multifunctional teams
Strong experience in marketing technology, in consumer / healthcare domains, incl. creating customized value propositions to customers
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of industry experience
Experience in marketing technology, healthcare or medtech products or solutions
People Management Experience
Business level language skill both in English and Japanese is must
Certified LEAN Advanced
