The sales Director is responsible for driving the organization to reach profitable sales growth in Europe for BMS portfolio, ranking from hardware, software, Software as a service and service offering.
In this role, you will drive the performance of a team of 100+ sellers across Europe, serving multiple channels. You will use your knowledge of customers, the industry segments and competition to identify and pursue biggest opportunities for growth, aligning internal stakeholders to grasp them, influencing and partnering with Offering Management teams, Business development, Supply Chain, Logistic, other Honeywell business units. You will make sure top customers are better served and are growing their business with Honeywell, while developing new channels and new customers. You will drive new product / solutions adoption in the market, identifying key requirements for success and secure their implementation.
Responsibilities of the position :
Be accountable and responsible for the development and execution of Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and the coordination of those plans with key stakeholders (offering, business development, sales excellence), to achieve targeted results in each region each month
Articulate the strategy to develop customers / markets, execute new initiatives to secure adoption of new solutions and business models in the existing channels or new ones.
Create and communicate sales goals and ensure leadership is informed on the progress, develop mitigation actions when required
Drive the orders and revenue forecast and alignment with manufacturing, logistic functions
Create opportunities to up sell – develop X-selling opportunities with other Honeywell businesses
Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
Manage overall customer satisfaction including, quarterly business reviews, account rail, service request, data collection. This includes development and management of action plans to improve customer satisfaction
Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, mini of 5 in sales leadership positions in international environment and overlooking multiple countries
Exceptional leadership skills – proven experience in leading experienced sales professionals
Experience in Electrical and Distributor sales.Proven Customer engagements at senior levels
Proven customer acquisition experience
European market knowledge
