In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building our clients CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with our development teams to deploy and manage OpenShift based applications and collaborate with our IT team to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure. Your Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift clusters
• Collaborate closely with development teams
• Monitor and optimize pipelines performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
• Collaborate with the client to ensure integration with existing infrastructure

Experience in (preferred 2 years)

• Artefakt-Repository, preferably Sonatype Nexus
• Argo CD / Openshift GitOps
• Tekton / Openshift Pipelines

Experience in (preferred 6 months)

• Testing / Infrastructure Testing
• OpenService Broker specification
• Git and GitOps principles
• Monitoring,Helm or Customize
• Knowledge of at least one high-level programming language
• Working experience with Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
• Fluent in both English and German (written & spoken)
• Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience inan agile environment (Scrum / Kanban)
