In this role, you will:

  • Execute QA Strategy by leading and supervising scorecard and real time reviews of audit engagements and issue validations, retrospective reviews, thematic reviews and other audit infrastructure reviews.

  • Assess Audit methodology against IIA and regulatory standards, and ensure action plans are implemented according to plan.

  • Perform issue validation of audit-owned regulatory issues prior to regulatory submissions.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across Internal Audit and other stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies.

  • Supervise or oversee multiple concurrent projects within defined timelines.

  • Ensure QA engagements are executed according to QA policies and procedures.

  • Lead team members providing timely feedback, coaching, and development guidance.

  • Think critically, identify and assess risk, and define solutions with limited guidance.

  • Use professional judgment, provide credible challenge, and escalate quality concerns when necessary.

  • Interact effectively with senior management.

  • Evaluate and provide appropriate solutions for complex problems.

  • Demonstrate professional skepticism.

  • Present results in an objective and unbiased manner to all levels of management.


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Audit experience

  • Audit experience at a large financial institution or auditing company.

  • A BS/BA degree or higher.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies and supporting tools.

  • Certification in one or more of the following: CPA, CAMS, CRCM, CIA, CISA.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.

  • Solid problem solving skills.

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge or experience with banking, financial, auditing, risk management functions.

  • Leadership experience for professional auditors, risk management, or product leadership professionals.

  • Strong understanding of financial regulatory environment.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry and understanding of the regulatory landscape.

  • Ability to lead and direct work of a geographically distributed team.

Pay Range

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
