Perform independently tool installation tasks (mechanical assembly, electrical connections, robot calibrations) from the integration to the inspection of the toolsincluding troubleshooting incase of issues.
Follows all checklists and procedures and ensures correct procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work.
Test equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation and diagnostic techniques.
Responds to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked andnon-conformances.
Adhere to the security policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.
Skills and Experience required:
Associate’s, bachelor’s, or master' degree with technical background like mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar...
Position open to New College Graduate (NCG).
Some experience or knowledge with AppliedMaterials CVD/CMP/EPItools would be an advantage but not required.
Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during system installation.
Ability to communicate daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
Project management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline and installation quality requirements.
Ability to work autonomously.
Good English communication skills both written and verbal.
Good Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
The position requires extensive travelling throughout Europe (75% of the time, depending on overall activity requirements)
