Be part of a multinational and fun team. You will represent Applied Materials at customer locations and be in charge of the accuracy and quality of service solutions needed. In addition, you combine in-depth technical expertise with excellent customer support to implement best service practices such as:

  • On-site installation and support of advanced electro-mechanical and electronic wafer fabrication production equipment

  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance independently or as part of a team

  • Systematic troubleshooting and fault elimination of the systems

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment

  • Engineer or Technician - Career changers are welcome.

  • Professional experience in technical service. Nice to have: previous knowledge of equipment in the semiconductor industry.

  • The ability to analyze and solve complex problems that takes up to 6 weeks or more.

  • Confident in German and English to work with colleagues and experts from all over the world and to read plant documentations and schematics. Company language is English.

  • Working days are mostly Monday to Friday, sometimes weekends or public holidays.

  • Willingness to travel for business or training purposes up to 30% max.
