Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience working in product safety, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, hi-pot testers, electronic loads, etc.
Experience with procedures related to obtaining international product safety approvals (CB, CE, NRTL/C, BIS CRS, KC, RCM, BSMI, CCC, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Experience working within full product delivery life cycles in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Experience with large-scale fire and fault condition testing.
Product Safety experience specifically with Information Technology Equipment, liquid cooling and cooling distribution units.
Understanding of the regulatory landscape and requirements in data center applications.
Understanding of hardware design constraints and tradeoffs, and an ability to find cost effective work arounds and simultaneously investigate multiple avenues to solve problems.
