Plumber – Building Maintenance Technician
In this role, you will report to the Facility Manager, the Plumber will provide on-site maintenance support for our client in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our customer, ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the overall success of our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance and repair of facility assets/systems such as pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the water, gas, and drainage on hospital property
- Oversee heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and fire systems
- Monitor alarms, gauges and other instruments
- Carry out a preventative maintenance program through inspections of all mechanical systems and equipment associated with the plumbing and heating trade
- Additional Responsibilities may include general building maintenance.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Completion of Grade 12 or GED
- Certificate of qualification as a Plumber (Red Seal)
- 5+ years of plumbing experience
- Vulnerable Sector Police clearance
- Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act
WE VALUE

- Previous work experience in a healthcare or hospital environment
- Good English written and oral communication
- Ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
