The maintenance technician will manage and execute plumbing and other general maintenance tasks, efficiently addressing service requests and supervisor directives to ensure timely completion and problem resolution. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to.KEY DUTIES:- Ability to work safely and independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues with an eye for detail is critical.- Timely resolution of emergency service requests.- Diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions.- Installing and maintaining specialized equipment such as grease traps, backflows, and water heaters.- Working from blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant installations.- Repairing and replacing pipes, valves, fixtures, and other plumbing components.- Adhering to local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.- Ensuring all work meets safety standards and building requirements.- Operating and maintaining specialized plumbing equipment, such as power snakes, hydro-jetter and descaler.- Working with various pipe materials, including cast iron, copper, PVC, and steel.- Providing clear and concise explanations of plumbing issues and solutions.- Maintaining accurate records of work performed.
