Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Position – Director, Physical Design and Signoff CAD

Job Description:

  • We are looking for a senior CAD leader to deliver tools/flows/methodologies to enable Qualcomm to build its most complex SoCs in cutting edge process nodes.

  • The person will be responsible to:

  • Drive tools, flows, methodologies for Physical Design and Signoff.

  • Define & own CAD roadmap based on Qualcomm product roadmap.

  • Drive EDA vendor eco-system.

  • Be the interface to Qualcomm execution teams.

  • Manage a large CAD team.

  • Experience:

  • Atleast 18 years’ experience in development of tools/flows/methodologies for physical design & signoff.

  • Deep expertise in RTL2GDS flows with industry standard tools on latest process nodes.

  • Should have a proven record of driving new innovative tool/flow/methodology solutions.

  • Strong programming knowledge, with a proven track record of building & delivering tools and flows.

  • Educational Qualification:

  • Preferred – Masters in VLSI or Computer Science

  • Minimum – Bachelors in Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science
