Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the Project Team adheres to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by Honeywell and our customers
Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule and budget
Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects. Ensure use of Honeywell project processes and tools
Direct the day to day operations of the project team
Developing trust and managing the relationship with customers and ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained, maintain customer relationships at the appropriate senior level
Manage effective communications with all project stakeholders
Define all subcontract /supply requirements and work with Supply Chain to ensure all subcontractor/supplier contracts and orders are appropriate for the project from a scope/cost and risk viewpoint. Lead or participate in negotiations as necessary
Deliver to the financial objectives for the project and control billing and costs for the project. Drive project team to maintain Estimated Actual Cost at Completion
Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell’s risk exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation
Ensure the design solution is fit for purpose in meeting the project requirements with the lowest cost of delivery
Manages the relationship with the installation subcontractor ensuring all delivery scope is completed on time and budget
Where the services of Global Engineering Services (GES) are utilised that their use is monitored and managed with regards to effective utilisation of the resource, the level of rework and their adherence to the programme of works.
Provide regular and accurate estimate at completion of costs for the project
Devising and implementing risk management programs and ensure proactive risk mitigation strategies are implemented and communicating these to management on a regular basis
Undertake detailed planning and scheduling of the project and manage resource allocation
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Information Technology (Preferred)
Proven experience in project management including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting and planning preferably on projects in excess of $10M
Demonstrated project experience involving the delivery of large and complex building management and HVAC systems
Commitment to the development of junior or less experienced staff in the project team
Proven ability to develop and lead a team
Possess a comprehensive understanding of BMS/HVAC principles and design knowledge
