- Contribute to be a member of the Development team responsible for developing and debugging of software products. Also participate in architecture and design reviews
- Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of several factors.
- Work across product lines with interaction of other BMC products
- Independently design and implement features that address customer needs with a sense of ownership within given timelines
- As every BMC employee, you will be given the opportunity to learn, be included in global projects, challenge yourself and be the innovator when it comes to solving everyday problems.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- You can embrace, live and breathe our BMC values every day!
- You have 6+ years of programming experience MVS HLASM programming language and able to create macros
- You have Proficiency in JCL and Dump analysis
- You have Familiarization with DevOps tools and concepts such as Jenkins.
- You are familiar with modern version control system such as Git.
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
- Cloud object storage and associated technologies.
- Working knowledge of Cloud Object storage / REXX and DB2 will be added advantage.
- CI/CD (Jenkins) environment with popular DevOps tools.
- Programming experience with Java/J2EE is a plus.
- Experience with z/OS storage management system is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodology, use of Atlassian products Jira, Confluence
