Job responsibilities

• Will be part of China CIB Markets Technology team, responsible for China Futures & Options markets infrastructure support and ownership, onshore system production management.
• Executing routine IT operation, such as monitoring and maintaining servers, network equipment (include Switches, Router, and Firewall) in data center.
• Installing, maintaining and administering servers and user equipment.
• Undertaking IT infrastructure-related problem diagnosis, implementing problem resolution or prevention measures as appropriate.
• Providing end-user support: responding to users’ IT requests or issues, logging ticket, resolving problems, following up or escalating to technical teams if needed.
• Communicating with technical teams of the parent Group (in Singapore, Hong Kong, China Mainland) and seek technical support or advice if needed.
• IT Production Support: End user support, system administration of infrastructure (like Zabbix, CyberArk and Windows/Linux), IT operation, project coordination.
• Performing computer hardware and network device procumbent, testing, installation, maintenance.
• Maintaining and assisting users to operate office equipment, such as user workstations.
• Ensuring security patches and antivirus software on workstations and servers are updated regularly.
• Occasionally working beyond normal business hours, weekends, or public holidays, e.g. scheduled or emergency maintenance.
• Maintaining up-to-date IT inventory records, such as PCs, laptops, screens, servers and network equipment, etc.
• Producing routine reports, such as internet usage statistics, lease line usage, infrastructure capacity monthly statements. Assisting IT projects and ad-hoc tasks, such as hardware or migration, system implementation, vulnerability remediation.
• Work with regional and global teams to help drive continuous improvement and efficiencies across the LOB/firm.
• Support local regulatory reporting and Exchange system setup and ongoing new requirements.
• Take the shift work to support day session and night session business work.
• Other tasks assigned by Head of IT, or Manager of IT Infrastructure.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Information system/Network.
• At least 5 years of infrastructure support experience.
• Familiar with infra monitor products, such as Zabbix/SolarWinds.
• Familiar with Windows/Linux server, network design, switches, router, Virtual machine, and firewall.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in administering Windows 2019, Linux Red Hat
• RHEL/Cisco/AWS/CISSP senior certificate is preferred.
• Experience in supporting Trading desk/Futures Options Trading application is preferred
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Verbal and written communication ability in both English and Chinese.
