As a Technology Support III team member in Corporate Investment Bank within Markets Technology, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
The Execution Services Production Management team is a core team within the Markets organization. Joining this team you will be a key player in ensuring J.P. Morgan offers a stable trading platform for its' clients and traders. In this role, you'll use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain trading systems that are crucial to providing market access. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise, you'll also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines. Job responsibilities
- Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
- Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability
- Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
- Identity issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
- Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Knowledge of front office trading applications and North America equity markets
- Experience in Incident and Problem management
- Strong communication skills to translate technical language into meaningful business impact statements
- Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages (Unix Shell, Python) plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
- Have an understanding of the Agile methodology
- Have ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Demonstrates knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
