What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, implement unique state of the art CISCO Silicon One™ Integration platform
- Create complex scenarios by understanding both customer deployment and SW/HW limitations
- Gain deep understanding of Networking and state of the art technologies
- Interact with customers, understand their requirements and reproduction of field deployment cases in our lab
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
- Efficiently communicate and collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams
- Participate in SW design and implementation of tools used to improve CISCO Silicon One™ products
What are we looking for?
- Good working knowledge of Python (object oriented) development - Academic education in computer technology (finished or ongoing BSc / MSc studies)
- 8.5 or above in your GPA
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Positive energy, motivation to learn and ability to work as part of a team
- High level of work autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Desire for improvement of current skillset in a fast-paced working environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English
What would stand out but not required:
- Understanding of computer networks and network protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP...)
- Good understanding the way how hardware is working
- Familiarity with networking
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with debugging directly on hardware
- Basic knowledge of C++
- Software techniques for writing optimized code
- Familiarity with the concept of integration testing
