We are seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a proven track record of implementing best in class processes within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will report to the Manager of Advanced Manufacturing, and is an integral member of the Technical Operations team. You will be responsible for NPI and scalability of wide range of products from design to production. You will work cross-functionally to develop suppliers, manage product lifecycle changes, guide product quality improvement projects, and drive to technical root cause in supplier quality activities. The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing, supplier quality engineering, supplier management and is capable of making wide-ranging business decisions on behalf of the organization.Key job responsibilities
- Foster a culture of inclusion.
- Guide best practices on manufacturing tolerances using GD&T.
- Launch tooling with accelerated schedules and assess project risk.
- Review external production processes, identify risk and mitigate.
- Qualify production processes based on dimensional data, control plans, PFMEAs.
- Drive internal and external FMEA reviews.
- Solve technical problems across a broad set of manufacturing commodities.
- Manage supplier quality problems when necessary; drive containment and root cause activities.
- Propose design changes that will enhance product manufacturability and testability.
- Evaluate and approve product Engineering Changes Orders (ECOs).
- Evaluate production, supplier and field failures for root cause analysis and resolution.
- Up to 35% travel required (Domestic and International) without restrictions.A day in the life

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Equivalent experience in mechanical engineering roles
- Experience in supplier quality engineering
- Supplier management

- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Experience with sheet metal and electromechanical supplier management
