Take full accountability and responsibility for Teir1 customer activity for closing deal as a sales, cooperate with internal BU product manager/Business development/finance/legal/operations. POC to customer for negotiating contract, pricing quote, define SOW for R&D activity with product manager.
Responsible for promoting Qualcomm’s technologies and solutions in the field of Digital Cockpit, Connectivity, AD/ADAS in the vehicle for Automotive customers (Auto Car OEMs and tier 1, 2), including the opportunity for negotiating and enabling customers’ needs with Qualcomm solution/product/commercial deal/supply capability.
Develop strategy and execute business plan with both the new and existing customers by containing the value proposition in line with the Qualcomm Automotive business strategy and its plan.
Require to have stakeholder management including executive relationship with customers and proactively able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to lead and influence customers. This position will also require understanding competitor and market trends to provide accurate forecast, and evaluate level of risks to identify new areas of opportunity for Qualcomm.
Responsibilities:
l Maximize design win, Find and close the deal with car OEM/Tier 1 customer. And achieve financial revenue goal by executing project/program, trace revenue recognition and cash correction.
Work with various internal team members such as Product management and customer engineering, operations and finance to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Build strategic relationship with key personnel at customers.
Communicate any business related updates/opportunity/forecast internally and set and execute business strategy (business closing with positive result is clearly the responsibility of this role).
Monitor the market dynamics against goals and respond to changes of trend in the market, such as the market price, competitions, and both SW/HW application trends, including the future car architectures and the software-defined vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of Sales experience with the Automotive industry with working experience in High-Tech/Semiconductor industry.
Must possess a strong industry knowledge and products and market intelligence.
Excellent organizational and planning skill.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Japanese. TOEIC 800 or equivalent.
Preferred candidate to have Electronical or Electrical Engineering degree or Business Management degree with experience of working in multinational Hi-Tech company.
Working experience in overseas is plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of customer interface experience with managing and cultivating multi-level accounts in Automotive industry.
Outstanding interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders and negotiation experience with customer of higher level personal.
Anticipates future trends and implicate its trend to business accurately, while creating competitive and breakthrough strategies that connect the vision of Qualcomm strategy and action to execute.
Familiar with multi-cultural and multi-national background of team.
Proven success with working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships both internally and externally in multinational companies.
Self-motivated & self-driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to drive real-world solutions with technologies.
Strong Influencing and communication skills required in both written and spoken in English and Japanese.
Able to execute multi task with high speed environment.
