Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in DWDM or TCP/IP or system design operations methodology.
- Experience working with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in collaborating across multiple levels and functions..
- Experience working in a data center or PoP environment.
- Experience in telecommunications, particularly at carrier class scale with a knowledge of large optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer 2/3 routers and data services.
- Knowledge of OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, environmental controls relay rack/cabinet/cage construction.
- Ability to engage or influence tactical and strategic decision-making.
