As Apprentice Interventional Cardiology Clinical Specialist, you will work on daily basis with worldwide key clinical research partners in cardiology - as well as global and local GE HealthCare colleagues. You will support the design and execution of research projects, evaluating early developments and generating evidence on new products while providing insights to the global Interventional Cardiology team. This role involves a fixed-term 12 month contract, requires fluent Dutch and English and will be hospital based in Flanders with some travel to France.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support research collaboration with top clinical partner in Belgium;
• Explore unmet clinical and technical needs with hospital physicians and translate to a product need;
• Collect data, clinical & product feedback, technical study endpoints, DICOM images and annotations ;
• Support adoption of new technology or clinical applications;
• Support customer visits, scientific events & workshops.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Last year or recently completed Master Degree in Medical Imaging, Physics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills;
• Self-starter, able to work independently;
• Flexible, curious by nature, and able to work under remote supervision with cross-functional, global teams;
• Able to individually lead complex projects with autonomy, rigor, drive & competence.
