APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Involved in system development of wireless products with a focus on multi-radios co-existence design. Define co-existence performance requirements and test methodology to ensure Apple product meets those requirements. Work with cross-functional teams, vendors, contract manufacturers, and technology suppliers. Provide design guidelines, review PCB and flex layouts, debug and resolve multi-radio coexistence issues. Support manufacturing test and debug failure units and perform large sample failure analysis. Participate in developing system mitigation that optimizes product performance. This includes hardware, firmware, software solutions and algorithms to mitigate coexistence issues. Analyze root cause of parametric test failures and sub-optimal test results. Use spectrum analyzers, base station emulators, and network analyzers to measure and analyze radio frequency signals in mobile devices. Pinpoint actual causes of test failures or sub-optimal test results in an efficient manner, and foresee performance issues based on analysis of test results. Provide integration recommendations towards optimizing the overall radio system performance quality of the wireless device. International Travel required 20%. 40 hours/week.
