Role and Responsibilities
- Expand existing and develop new customer relationships
- Set account strategy and take ownership of sales related functions
- Identify potential new customers / markets and business opportunities
- Define value proposition for the products and servicesin the connectivity field
- Supervise existing- and secure new projects from RFI/RFQ till Design-Win stage
- Develop pricing strategy and coordinate pricing for existing and new customer projects
- Work closely with global counterparts in Sales Operations, Marketing and Customer Engineering
- Monitor sales operations and control achievements by project, area and customer
- Arrange and participate in operations, engineering, and business review meetings
- Analyse and evaluate market developments, business results, follow technology standardization activities and submit regular business reports
- Prepare, supervise and monitor the relevant Global Supply Chain including forecasts
- Facilitate and strengthen effective communication amongst all commercial parties between customer and Samsung support entities
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree inElectronics/ElectricalEngineering
- Extensive sales thinking and pro-active / consultative sales approach
- Strong customer orientation
- Knowledge of semiconductor technologies, operations and cost models
- Good knowledge of application markets and customers (Automotive, Consumer, Mobile, Industrial)
- Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
- Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision
- Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
- Fluent in English language, German language is a plus
