eero is looking for a highly focused QA Engineer to work on critical web application testing projects that keep our platform running smoothly. You will help the QA team validate software releases and ensure a great customer experience.
You'll work closely across multi-functional development teams to help discover, recreate, and debug issues. You will have the opportunity to contribute and grow our web UI and API automation code and framework.

Key job responsibilities
- Participate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end
- Create and execute test plans for existing products and features
- Develop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability
A day in the life
This web QA role will have you attending regular project sync meetings with a mixed stakeholder audience of project managers, developers and designers. You will work both independently and collaboratively with your QA and developer peers to implement, validate, and release new features and functionality to our customers. You will also work with your peers to track the health of regular software releases, providing QA sign off for pre-prod and production releases.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- 3+ years in a Quality assurance role out of which at least 2+ years are in testing web applications
- Combination of solid in-depth knowledge of quality assurance, solid understanding of web/API technologies, as well as knowledge of automation tools
- Experience working on different web browsers and operating systems: macOS and Windows
- Experience investigating and root causing web UI issues through front end and back end code and log review
- Ability to work independently and within a testing team
- Experience with consumer networking hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access points
- Some level of API or web automation experience (using Selenium, Cypress, Postman, UIAutomator etc)
- Experience testing cloud APIs
