Job Description:

In order to support the Global Commercial Banking (GCB) growth agenda, a Banker position is open in Sao Paulo - Brazil, under the supervision of the GCB International - Latam Market Executive. The position will focus on delivering our full regional capabilities to our GCB subsidiary clients and executing the GCB International strategy.

GCB includes the following segments :

• Middle Market Banking
• Healthcare, Education & Not For Profit (HENFP)
• Commercial Real Estate Banking (CREB)


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting clients in driving regional business development of GCB business in LATAM.
  • Support global account owners by working with relationship managers and product specialists globally to assess client needs and drive marketing of suitable product and services by fully leveraging the Bank of America’s global platform, including credit and risk management products, cash management and trade solutions, debt capital raising, leasing, investment and treasury products
  • Responsible for establishing and deepening relationships with key individuals within the client’s management teams, and work with internal stakeholders to drive business development and execution of the financial services solutions
  • Working closely with GCB LATAM Market Executive on multiple projects and initiatives.

Core skills and requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the industry/market practices/trends and subsidiary banking needs
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, understand and manage credit and risk.
  • Basic credit training or experience will be useful to this role
  • Team player comfortable in virtual teams and with cross-functional interaction
  • Good communications, analytical and quantitative skills necessary in a front office role
  • Solid understanding of the core foundational products – credit, treasury & foreign exchange
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively across the matrix and establish a robust internal/ external network
  • Passion and desire to work with Global Commercial banking clients.
  • Hands on proficiency in MS Office products
  • University degree holder with a minimum three years relevant experience.
  • Highly motivated, eager to accept new challenges and able to work under pressure.
  • Multilingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese) skills will be a definite advantage in this role.
