Design: Be part of a team that designs, modifies, and implements test equipment solutions supporting Qualification to DO-160 and Mil Std 461. You will support the development of or the investigation/analysis of issues to root cause and propose the fix, implement changes, and verify & validate the final solution. Turning Honeywell Requirement Specifications into deliverable products.

Lab: You will work with a cross functional team to test products through the Development and Qualification cycle. Investigate and analyze issues to root cause and propose fixes then verify & validate the final solution.

As Point of Contact with Internal Customers you will present Test Data and findings and clearly communicate next steps with the team

JOB ACTIVITIES

• Setup and Execute EMI & PQ Development and Qualification Tests
• Create Qualification Data Packages to support Test Reports
• Participate in Test Build Design including procurement and working with vendors when needed.
• Test Build Verification and Validation
• As Internal Customer’s Point of Contact, provide concise presentation of Test Data and Findings at regular meetings
• Develop and maintain new lab processes
• Develop additional lab capability
• Support multi skilling/training of others
• Support test estimates and scheduling

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of directly related work experience in Electromagnetic Effects testing, standards, and specifications
• Ability to travel to Mississauga up to 20%

WE VALUE

• Software Experience with EMC32, TILE and EMCware Software
• Test Equipment Experience with EMI Receivers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Amplifiers, Signal generators, antennas, and oscilloscopes
• Working Experience of EMI and PQ Test applying RTCA DO-160, ABD0100.1.2, ABD0100.1.8.1, D6-16050-4 & MIL-STD-461
• Working Experience of EMI and Power Quality Test
