Information Management Function:As a key member of the Project Delivery team, you will be the person responsible for all matters relating to Information Management Delivery. The Information Manager is aligned with the Project Manager to ensure adherence to the Project Execution Plan. You will be responsible for managing the People, Process, Solutions & Procurement functions to drive action in digital delivery. You will focus on managing Project Information, use of the Common Data Environment, verification of the Project Information Model content, information governance and “BIM” standard adherence.


Delivery Excellence

You will be solutions focused, proactive and able to delegate tasks effectively within the team. You will be accountable for effective Information Management upon a project and can coach and guide the project teams, to achieve technically excellent delivery.

: Through your understanding of the client and industry requirements you will ensure all commercial agreements are in place and documented accordingly. You will develop, oversee, and ensure the success of the Exchange Information Requirements at each delivery stage.

Commercial performance:You will hold responsibility for providing project fee estimates, monitoring expenditure, recording efficiencies and reporting issues to the Project Manager.

As an Information Manager within our E&P business you will undertake a key role in helping our clients achieve their outcomes.   • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to supporting others across the team in delivery.
  • Communicate effectively, allowing you to maintain relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Harness the ability to apply the latest Information Management techniques and practices within the UK Construction and Infrastructure Industry including industry standards and government policies, together with the UK BIM Framework and the BS EN ISO 19650 series.
  • Establish, manage, and control the Common Data Environment with good knowledge of interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of authoring tools utilised by the Construction industry to manage client’s, supplier’s, and project’s graphical and non-graphical data.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive experience of collaboration software.
  • Create, set up, coordinate, and deliver Information Management Protocols and Execution Plans.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the roles, relationships and responsibilities required of Information Management within project delivery.
  • Assesses capability and training needs, proactively implementing training and support.
  • Recognise emerging technologies, opportunities and solutions that support our Clients and Project Delivery.
  • Whilst there is no set location for this role, it will require the ability to travel in line with business needs.
Here's what you'll need

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a technical and/or engineering space with a thorough understanding of project information management principles and application.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the Construction, or Engineering industry.
  • A degree, HND/ HNC or professional certification in a related subject.
  • Good organisation skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience of ensuring the fundamental compliance in Information Management according to the UK BIM Framework.
  • Experience of implementing various interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of design processes within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
  • An interest in project leadership.
