What the Candidate Will Do

  • Source, negotiate and implement strategic partnerships in alignment with the business model and priorities
  • Evaluate new business development, lead contract negotiations and influence partner’s senior executives. You will help define the ecosystem of potential partners & develop the value proposition for how Uber can add value to the partner and the prospective customer.
  • Identify specific partners to approach, nurture the requisite senior relationships, and effectively communicate Uber’s value proposition and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams such as product, operations, marketing, legal, tax teams to drive successful partnership outcomes. Track and report on key deal metrics.
  • Own the existing partnerships and devise innovative constructs to further strengthen the relationship.

What the Candidate Will Need

  • 10 years or plus experience in business development, management consulting, investment banking, or strategy work in a large business, technology company or growing startup.
  • Experience with building, maintaining and leveraging C-level relationships at partner companies.
  • Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multifaceted deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal, cross-functional teams as well as external organisations.
  • Ability to see the big picture, understand the most important business priorities and easily adapt to the constantly-changing work environment.
