Enthusiastic Design Verification Engineer driven to contribute to the dynamic development of USB IP for a wide range of client products. Experienced professional with the opportunity to craft comprehensive and high-quality test coverage plans for validating cutting-edge USB IP generations and advanced architectural features.Key Responsibilities:
Define and develop validation test plans for next-generation USB IP and new architectural features.
Create test content, coverage points, and assertion checks to ensure robust validation.
Build and enhance testbench components, including monitors, scoreboards, checks, and BFMs, to achieve thorough validation coverage.
Diagnose and resolve issues in failing tests, ensuring effective corrective measures.
Pursue innovative problem-solving approaches to optimize test coverage, reduce project timelines, and enhance overall efficiency.
Understand SoC and subsystem validation environments and deliver IP validation support.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant technical experience, or
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant technical experience.
2+ years of hands-on expertise in silicon design and/or validation/verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in design and/or design verification of complex IPs and/or SoCs.
Experience with OVM/UVM, System Verilog, and constrained random verification methodologies.
Experience with scripting languages like Perl/Python.
Experience developing and refining validation test suites while driving continuous improvement in validation methodologies.
Comprehensive understanding of the verification lifecycle, including verification architecture, test planning, execution, debugging, and coverage closure.
Understanding of USB or similar protocols is a strong plus.
