As a Payroll Specialist in the Czech Republic, you will join our dedicated payroll team in Opava. Your role will involve processing confidential and sensitive information and preparing data for submission to ADP, our payroll system. You'll ensure every task is completed with precision and punctuality, contributing to the seamless operation of our payroll processes.

How you’ll spend your day
  • Accountable for the results of the payroll in Czech Rep. and Slovakia
  • Works as first point of contact for the in-country payrolls
  • Ensures the organisations payroll is completed in a timely and accurate manner via ADP
  • Accurately creating, maintaining and validating employees payroll data and records by gathering, calculating, monitoring and inputting data as necessary
  • Verifying data for payroll by checking carefully the information received and raising queries when required
  • Handling T&A data in the systems
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures and complies with relevant laws
  • Ensures payroll controls are in place and are adhered to
  • Monitors and responds to incoming calls, e-mails, post and messages to ensure a first-class service for all
  • Cooperates with finance functions, outsourced payroll provider and third-party suppliers in a professional, timely and competent manner
  • Responsible for keeping all payroll data safe and confidential at all times while adhering to local rules for data protection
  • Produces and supplies regular and on-demand payroll reports as and when requested to do so
  • Provides development opportunities for payroll team
  • Participates in year-end activities and any other ad hoc processes
  • Ability to close cooperate with the supervisor, HR and AskHR Teams in order to payroll related matters
Your experience and qualifications
  • Experience with payroll processes and procedures is a must
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation in the Czech Republic
  • Advanced communication skills in English would be a great asset
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet established deadlines
  • Good understanding of data protection and how to look after sensitive and confidential data
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Analytical skills
  • Proactive in monitoring errors and ensuring swift resolution to prevent recurrence
  • Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills both within the team and across functions
