Your key responsibilities
In your role as an Experienced Consultant, you will join a team dedicated to assisting clients across various sectors with their mandatory reporting obligations under different regulations.
- Work on client assignments in Insurance and Financial sector industry, primarily in the areas of consumer protection, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare regulatory documentation required under different regulations (e.g., KIDs/SIDs, SFCR & ORSA preparation, CSRD reporting, etc.).
- Design, document, enhance and implement risk management strategies, frameworks, policies, processes and procedures in the insurance sector.
- Demonstrate core consulting skills and insurance knowledge to support delivery to clients.
- Be a point of contact with our clients and their personnel.
- Provide timely, efficient and professional delivery of service to our clients.
- Stay up to date with European and local regulatory updates.
- Develop people through effectively coaching and mentoring more junior staff.
- Participate in the preparation of presentation to clients.
To qualify for the role you must have
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position in a consulting firm or in a comparable role in a financial services organization, with exposure to Unit-Linked products, Asset Management and Investments;
- Proven math and analytical skills, as acquired through a Bachelor's and/or a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering or other quantitative degree;
- You have basic knowledge of the insurance and/ or asset management industry, the PRIIPs regulation, Solvency II directive, UCITS directive, ESG regulations and other related regulatory technical standards, Q&As, etc.;
- Strong communication, presentation and writing skills in English, any other European language is a plus;
- You have an excellent command of Microsoft Office applications i.e. PowerPoint and Excel;
- A committed approach to continuous professional development is required
- Strong team player with a passion for excellence and commitment to delivering work on time and with a flexible working style enjoying working with multi-national teams.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- The ability to deal with outward-facing client management on projects and on-selling;
- The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong skills in large database, statistical packages for data manipulation and in development of predictive and prescriptive models (i.e. R, Python, SAS, SQL etc.)
- Any relevant professional qualification is considered a plus (i.e. FIA,CFA, etc.).
- Experience in Data Visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau) for integration between different data sources, design and implementation of KPIs and generation of visualizations that will facilitate extraction of business insights;
