Your Key Responsibilities
- Work on client assignments in Insurance, Pension and Financial sector industry, primarily in the areas of risk management, regulatory compliance, governance and other related areas.
- Support the design of risk management and compliance functions in Insurance & Pension industry, with the associated Target Operating Models.
- Design, document, enhance and implement risk management strategies, frameworks, policies, processes and procedures in the insurance sector.
- Demonstrate core consulting skills and insurance knowledge to support delivery to clients.
- Participate in the preparation and presentation to clients at all levels.
- Play your part in the development of intellectual property to support sales-oriented client interaction.
- Assist in responding to client proposals.
- Provide timely, efficient and professional delivery of service to our clients.
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility and knowledge, providing support, maintaining communication and update other senior team members on progress.
- Keep up to date with industry news and trends, and actively identifying risks or opportunities to improve our services.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- A BSc or MSc degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering or another related field.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Non-Life, Life, Health and/or Pension insurance knowledge.
- Previous involvement in risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting though continuous business monitoring, including insurance and financial risks.
- A committed approach to continuous professional development is required.
- Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.
- Strong team player with a passionfor excellence and commitment to delivering work on time and with a flexible working style enjoying working with multi-national teams.
- A high degree of self–direction and the business acumen to work within a rapidly changing environment.
- Advanced MS office skills.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Working knowledge of activities relating to Solvency II – Pillar II.
- Previous involvement in the development, enhancement, implementation of the ORSA process with the associated scenarios, stresses, risk measurement and report writing.
- Previous involvement in the development of risk appetite framework and risk models for the quantification and monitoring of risks against appropriate limits and tolerances, with the use of Key Risk Indicators.
- Previous involvement in collaboration with insurance regulators for the development and enhancement of regulatory requirements and supervisory practices in the insurance sector.
- Knowledge and familiarity with key regulations for insurers, including ESG and sustainability, operational resilience, recovery and resolution, IDD, PoG, PRIIPs, RIS, FiDA.
- Knowledge of insurance distribution channels and intermediaries.
- The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of process development and documentation with the use of MS Visio or other relevant tool.
- Professional risk management qualification (e.g. IRM, CERA, FRM, etc.).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel.
