Position Overview:

Sales & Revenue Growth:

· Lead and manage the military sales team, ensuring successful execution of sales goals, pipeline management, and client engagement.

·Manage complex sales processes, from initial engagement to contract negotiation and closure, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and procurement requirements.

Market Expansion & Relationship Building:

·Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with top-tier military agencies globally, positioning Cognyte as a trusted partner.

·Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing military sales team, driving a culture of excellence, accountability, and results.

·Foster a collaborative, performance-driven environment where team members are empowered to succeed and continuously grow.

·Set clear goals and metrics for the team, while providing coaching and guidance to ensure the success of both individuals and the team as a whole.

Reporting & Analytics:

·Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership on sales pipeline, revenue, and key wins.

·10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue and market share growth within the military sector.

·Extensive experience in selling complex solutions products to military, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies.

·Deep understanding of military procurement processes, government contracting, and the defense and intelligence markets.

·Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, lead high-performing teams, and drive results in a global context.

·Strong negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex, high-stakes sales cycles.

·Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with C-level executives and senior government officials.

·Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Other Skills:

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and refine sales strategies.

·Experience working with global teams and navigating international sales and regulatory environments.
