Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of financial models and reports that provide insight into financial performance.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert on financial systems/centralized and standardized reporting
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify underlying trends, forecast long-term performance, and formulate recommendations for strategic enhancements.
  • Deliver reports and analyses and recommendations to improve business processes and financial strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance leadership and internal team to evolve and expand our Global Finance Data Domain strategy along with development and management of reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Translate complex financial data into understandable and actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify new opportunities for advanced analytics and digital transformation for the Finance organization.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing data-driven insights.
  • Champion data accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting, establishing validation protocols to ensure data quality and privacy standards.
  • Oversee and lead the team through the development of documentation including design, requirements, and user training

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, with a focus on financial data.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools and data visualization software like Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA, power query) and proficiency in the Microsoft O365 suite
  • Expertise with data tools and programming languages including SQL & Python and data modeling, database design development and data cleansing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certification in business analytics or a related field.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive forecasting methods.
  • Experience with big data platforms and technologies like Snowflake and AWS
  • Experience with developing Generative AI and Machine learning models are a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Finance Reporting Systems (Oracle Hyperion/EPM Cloud) or SAP is a plus.
  • Agile certification
