- Design and Development: Design, and implement the data & analytics platforms, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Data Integration: Integrate diverse external and internal data sources (e.g. APIs, third party data providers) into the platform, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Platform Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the data platform, optimizing performance and resolving issues promptly.
- Automation and CI/CD: Implement automation in data pipelines and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Job requirements –Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, with a strong understanding of cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in developing with Terraform as well as building and deploying YAML pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Kafka as well as ETL processes and API integration.
