The Windows Consumer Category Strategic Planning, Product & Portfolio Lead will ensure we have the right sales strategy for key milestones for Operating System (OS) updates/continuous innovation, and retail sell in cycles (SMM) alignedacross OS, Devices, Silicon, Compete and Regional feedback and

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business, category management, product management, marketing strategy or business planning

    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business, category management, product management, marketing strategy or business planning

    • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience planning and executing assortment plans and marketing strategies, andanalyzing market data to create actionable insights and drive future planning decisions
  • Experience with consumer channel device sales
  • Extensive experience with cross-group collaboration, and the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of a highly-matrixed organization and diverse partner groups
  • Compelling oral and written communication skills with experience presenting to internal and external senior level audiences
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and expectations in a dynamic business environment

Responsibilities
  • Deliver annualWindowsand devices category priorities, partnering with Device Partner Sales (DPS) and Product Marketing teams.
  • Assess performance to yearly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver look back/calibration of efforts to ensure we are continuing to plan effectively based on learnings and pass back on to Product Marketing and Device Partner Sales.
  • Lead Featured Devices selections including sourcing regional input to ensure the best devices to serve our regions and unique customers.
  • Deliver Seasonal Sales and Marketing Meeting strategy and sales enablement content in partnership with DPS,Channel marketing&Product Marketing.
