Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Management & Review
Review and analyze high-volume legal documentation to ensure Netflix's delivery milestones are met
Create and maintain legal delivery checklists for each production
Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and Netflix standards
Track and manage multiple productions on various schedules simultaneously
Partner & Project Management
Collaborate with Film Business & Legal Affairs executives to negotiate delivery lists
Work closely with external content producers and licensors to ensure successful legal material delivery
Onboard partners to Netflix Production Folders and applications
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for legal deliverables as applicable
Manage documentation for licensed acquisitions, including festival runs and theatrical releases
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Participate in cross-functional meetings (e.g., acquisitions department, screen credits and residuals meetings )
Conduct project delivery kick-off meetings
Maintain excellent communication between various internal departments
Coordinate with teams for sign-off on deliverables, including credits, marketing, music clearance, labor, IP, and risk management
Qualifications:
4+ years of prior legal delivery experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent film studio experience
Strong understanding of production documentation and legal delivery requirements required to produce and exploit scripted content
Exceptional organizational and planning skills with ability to track multiple projects
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Experience working with external partners and meeting strict deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams

Previous experience in entertainment legal departments or production companies
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $70,000- $350,000.
