You will be working in a cross-functional and cross-border team within EY which will often be supplemented with client personnel as well as other parties in the process (the target, other client advisors, strategic investors, financial institutions and others).

• Assist in analysis and drafting of financial due diligence reports, excel financial databooks and other deliverables as needed
• Support senior team members in historical analysis of financial information provided through a Q&A process and other discussions with the targets
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and documentation
• Perform industry and company research
• Support business development efforts by assisting in the preparation of proposals, pitch materials, and client presentations

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Analysis or Business Planning/Financial mathematics
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of transaction support (focus on due diligence), accounting, banking or mergers & acquisitions (Big4 experience is considered an advantage)
• Diligent approach and dedication to all assigned tasks
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• A strong work initiative
• Good project and time-management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Croatian and English
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of data analytics tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, Capital IQ, etc.) is considered an advantage
