The Operational Risk & Controls Analyst provides operational/service leadership as part of the EUC Champion and Governance Team. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.Responsibilities:
Key member of the EUC (End User Computing) Champions team within Securities Services Business.
Implement a best in practice Testing and Governance model to ensure EUCs are properly registered, categorised and prioritised for strategic solution remediation.
Highly focussed on loss prevention by ensuring EUCs designed and built can demonstrate excellent design and execution.
Reporting to head of SSO EUC Champions team
Support on other major Risk and Control initiatives as they relate to the Securities Services Business
Drive a culture of risk awareness and best practice with regards to EUCs
