Job Description

We are looking for a Forecasting & Data Analytic Sr. Specialist to join our Commercial Operations Team. In this position, you will report to the Forecasting & SIP Associate Director and will be responsible for the strategic forecasting activities of the subsidiary that includes all products in our portfolio. You will also bring a strong analytical mindset to participate in the design and development of incentive plans for our customer facing roles.

Description of Position

  • This position integrates different organizations at a local level, and assists in the creation, development, and maintenance of the strategic forecasting process for each subsidiary's product to guarantee the supply of all our medicines and vaccines to all our customers in a cost-effective way, helping Business Units achieve their objectives, avoiding unnecessary costs and improving the ability to execute in our markets.
  • Maintains optimal inventory levels and optimizes customer service KPIs. Evaluates potential risks with production and inventories, anticipating stock shortages and identifying opportunities to manage and mitigate risks, avoiding destruction costs due to obsolescence.
  • Ensures the reliability of performance metrics: forecast accuracy / forecast error, forecast bias and customer service levels, ensuring that the different KPIs are linked to our commercial and strategic initiatives.
  • Incorporates Data Analytics functions, collecting data and inputs from different internal teams and external sources to generate relevant insights that monitors and evaluate the performance of both the department and the different Business Units, identifying possible risks and opportunities that may affect the top line of our portfolio.
  • The candidate will also collaborate and provide support to the Forecasting & SIP Associate Director in the definition of National incentives targets and its deployment to individual territories and Sales reps.
  • Responsible for opportunities identification based on market trends & competitive analysis, ensures calculation of valid payments of the incentives to sales reps according to their performance.
  • Analyzes data and understands how to use analytics tools and dashboards to make recommendations around use of measurement tools and KPIs about the sales force performance.
  • Introduction of new methods and advanced analytical analysis for the Top Management and for the different Business Units to support business decisions about future incentives plans related with specific products, regions, or people.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA is a plus)
  • English language proficiency
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Demand Planning, Marketing, Data Analysis, and/or Incentives department, desired in a Pharma Company
  • High personal and professional standards of ethics and integrity
  • High level of energy and problem-solving attitude
  • Data-driven results-oriented, focused on meeting the needs of customers and the business.
  • Strong analytical skills: statistical and mathematical
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Able to work collaboratively and to connect with all different levels in the organization to achieve commitments and communicate accordingly.
  • Understanding of Pharma business and its commercial activities
  • Proven experience in SAP APO and Rapid Response
  • Forecasting software knowledge desired
  • MS Office and PowerBI mastery
