Distinguished Software Engineer

Develop highly scalable services to process millions of requests per day and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology. Work with data scientists and product managers to carry out various experiments across different areas of the AdTech platforms to improve customer experience and ad relevance. Drive projects of high visibility across the organization. Guide mid-to-junior engineers. Implement and maintain the full stack of the Ad Tech platform (using SDK server). Analyze and improve performance, scalability, reliability, and measurability of system components. Work with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Drive improvements and new approaches to address potential systemic pain points and technical debt. Maintain an understanding of end-to-end system interactions and architecture in order to assess implications and dependencies associated with design decisions. Collaborate with technical teams on new and emerging technologies by determining how they will integrate into current and evolving infrastructure.

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 6 years of experience in software engineering or related area.

Experience with C++, Java, and Python. Experience with Machine Learning Platforms. Experience with Machine Learning Frameworks (including XGBoost, Tensor Flow, and Linear Regression) and feature engineering. Experience with Distributed Technologies (including Key value stores and Caching). Experience with AdTech. Experience designing large scale distributed systems. Experience with concurrency and high-performance engineering. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure. Experience with Distributed Cache. Experience mentoring new engineers.
