Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Identify, research, post and deposit loan payments received by mail, wire, or ACH, including rejected payments from the lockbox and online payment facility.

2. Reconcile unidentified payments by contacting customers for payment information.

3. Post all Returned items from all Banks.

4. Process manual check and ACH Origination requests by reviewing and validating proper backup and approvals are included before issuing checks/ACH.

5. Reconcile and provide Corporate Accounting direction to clear suspense items.

6. Review for accuracy and post account adjustment transactions submitted from other departments.

7. Reconcile payment variances and correct account accordingly.

8. Handle more complex payment reconciliations and issues.

9. Handle all incoming emails from internal and external customers to resolve account issues and/or misapplication of funds.

10. Reconcile prior day system transactions including all Bank Deposits.

11. Assist with updating the outstanding check list and making sure its accurate.

12. Processing funding daily, which consists of uploading file in the Bank and issuing checks.

13. Be a mentor for the Payment Specialist I.

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. One year of accounting clerical, general ledger and accounts receivables experience
3. Strong 10-key data entry and mathematical skills
4. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interact with internal and external clients
6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

1. Associate's degree
2.Five years of experience in banking, insurance or related payment processing field

The annual base salary for this position is$46,750- $66,350.
