Strategic Alliance Senior Director

Accountabilities:

  • The Strategic Alliance Senior Director must possess cross-functional expertise and advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues including the ability to:

  • Inspire and lead the development of new ideas and strategies.

  • Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.

  • Provide expertise to functional teams and contribute to cross-functional teams.

  • Act as the subject matter expert providing direction and guidance to establish and improve policies and practices.

  • Represent HP to external customers/retailers/clients/industry partners

  • Exercise significant independent judgement within broadly defined policies or practices to recommend the best method for accomplishing objectives.

  • Understanding and working knowledge of HP’s Consumer & Commercial go-to-market motions

  • Ability to drive consistency of message with an Alliance partner across the HP organization.

Leading the business like an “owner”. Analyzing and structuring financial models to drive revenue through joint solutions. The ability to understand both income statements and balance sheet metrics to monitor business progress is required.


Educational and Managerial Requirements:

  • Education: Undergraduate Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields

  • MBA Preferred

  • 15-20 years of relevant work experience with history of progression in complexity of responsibility

  • Minimum of 10 years management experience

  • Background in executing, partnering, and collaborating on a global scale and operating across multiple regions or countries
