They play a pivotal role in team and cross-team engagements, serving as a representative for their organization internally and externally, and acting as a role model interviewer, consistently working to raise the hiring bar. Moreover, the role demands strong leadership in orchestrating large-scale engineering projects from inception through implementation and operation, setting an example by embracing company-wide decisions beneficial to Uber, even if challenging at the individual or team level.
