About the role

We are in an evolving healthcare environment, with an increasing focus on sustainability. Many country healthcare systems are implementing roadmaps to support their Net Zero goals, with a strong focus on decarbonisation, waste reduction and social value. Across the region there are variable approaches to sustainability, with mandatory requirements implemented in tenders and partnerships.

As an ESG Intern, you will be part of the EMEA ESG team at Boston Scientific. The selected candidate will act across divisions supporting the French commercial organisation in understanding ESG requirements within tenders and supporting the local organisation to optimise their response to these requirements. These insights will help define what Environmental, Social and Governance means for Boston Scientific by narrowing the wide landscape of opportunity into a clear vision, focused strategy and short- and long-term priorities

Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Data mining tenders within France to identify ESG criteria.
  • Categorisation of criteria: including weighting and evolution over the last 3 years
  • Support with the interpretation of customer asks,and identify where there are gaps/opportunities for improvement in current BSC processes.
  • Develop localised tools support the tenders/commercial organisation in answering ESG questions (FAQ document)
  • Capture categories and questions in a usable format in the relevant automated systems
  • Communicating with multiple partners and project participants

What We Look For In You

  • Graduated in a Bachelor's or studying a Master's degree or higher in Sustainability or related fields.
  • Eligibility to sign a full-time internship agreement (TFG handed in or already discussed).
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory (level B2+).
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work within an international matrix team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, following up on activities and daily tasks.
