## What You'll Do**Customer Obsession in Action**
- Partner with public sector organizations to architect cloud solutions that modernize citizen services and government operations
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, understanding customer challenges and translating business requirements into scalable AWS architectures
**Technical Leadership**
- Design and implement highly available, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures across diverse government use cases- Provide technical guidance on performance optimization, security best practices, disaster recovery, and data architecture**Stakeholder Engagement**- Build long-term relationships that establish AWS as the preferred cloud partner
- Share customer insights and requirements with AWS service teams to influence product roadmaps**Technical Expertise**
- Proven experience architecting solutions across multiple platforms and technology domains
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles including security, networking, DevOps, and high availability

Key job responsibilities- Develop a deep expertise in AWS technologies.
- Consult on and provide leadership for the broad AWS cloud strategy in NZ public sector organisations. You will help customers articulate and navigate their cloud journey, and be accountable for ensuring tactical activities and point projects are align with the overall technical strategy.
- Own technical engagements, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value. This is *not* a hands-on delivery role; delivery is typically done by AWS consultants and partners.

- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
