Financial Reporting Expert
Regulatory Reporting team within Finance is responsible for preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly returns to Central Banks and other policymakers. The reporting requirements are spread across Financial, Statistical, and Prudential regimes.
In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:
Support the preparation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies (National / central regulators like BaFin, ECB, SEC, etc) based on requirements such as IFRS, German GAAP, Basel
Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events
Participation in efficiency and innovation projects on ad hoc basis by reviewing and developing current processes using advanced digitalization tools
Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency
Liaise with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues
Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)
Use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performanceAct as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:
5+ years of work experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting / auditing roles
Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles and Financial Markets and products/Regulatory Reporting requirements
Excellent analytical skills
Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL
University/College degree in finance/accounting
Knowledge about German GAAP / IFRS is highly advantageous
Knowledge about Basel 3 is highly advantageous
Languages: English (mandatory), German (advantageous)
