Regulatory Reporting team within Finance is responsible for preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly returns to Central Banks and other policymakers. The reporting requirements are spread across Financial, Statistical, and Prudential regimes.
What you’ll do
Support the preparation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies (National / central regulators like BaFin, ECB, SEC, etc) based on requirements such as IFRS, German GAAP, Basel.
Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events.
Participation in efficiency and innovation projects on ad hoc basis by reviewing and developing current processes using advanced digitalization tools.
Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency.
Liaise with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues.
Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries).
Exploit a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results.
What we’ll need from you
University/College degree in finance/accounting.
5+ years of work experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting / auditing roles.
Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles and Financial Markets and products/Regulatory Reporting requirements.
Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL.
Knowledge about German GAAP / IFRS / Basel 3 is highly advantageous.
Proficient communicational skills.
Languages: English (mandatory), German (advantageous).
